Our Itineraries are designed to offer guests an embracing experience of human natures affair with nature. They are exclusive experiences involving mild adventure along roads less travelled, an opportunity to discover intimate aspects of Africa. Every African Signature Itinerary can be personalised to suite your distinctive preference of travel.


Arrive in Cape Town where you will be met by one of African Signature's representatives, a short drive to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure followed by a briefing of your adventure before dinner.


Early morning pick-up from your hotel, for a road transfer to your first dive site. On arrival in Hout Bay you will receive all the gear you might require including cylinder and weights. A boat ride out to one of the many wrecks on the Atlantic side will provide you with some breath taking views, passing by Seal Island. First dive for the day will be a wreck.
Coffee, soft drinks and snacks will be provided on the boat in between dives. Second dive will be with Cape Fur Seals. Enjoy lunch at the harbour, followed by a drive along Chapmans Peak to visit Cape Point Nature reserve in the afternoon. Return to your Hotel.


Pick up from your hotel for a drive to the quaint village of Simons Town. Today's diving will be a variation of Kelp Forest and sandy bottoms in search of the Seven Gill Cow Sharks, second dive will be either Smitswinkel wrecks or Partridge Point your choice.

Lunch will be in the small fisherman’s harbour of Kalk Bay. An afternoon visit to the boulders will provide great picture opportunities as this is popular Penguin breeding grounds. Late afternoon visit to Table Mountain followed by dinner at the renowned Victoria & Alfred waterfront before returning to your hotel.


Early morning pick-up for a drive to Gansbaai, today will be dedicated to Shark Cage Diving for your experience to come face to face with the magnificent Great White Shark.
Your return trip in the afternoon will via the Cape wine lands for some wine tasting and purchasing. Dinner at your hotel.


Today you move location, travelling by aircraft to Durban, followed by a 3 hour drive north along the coast to Sodwana Bay situated in one of South Africa's marine protected areas. The diving provides a variety of soft and hard coral. A host of different sceneries can be expected here with gullies, swim-throughs and pinnacles - the site is also noted for technical diving.
Our dive lodge is comfortable wooden cabins situated in a natural forest with all amenities you might need. The complex have a restaurant swimming pool and some entertainment.


Early morning dive on 2-mile reef to get use to the conditions and settle in, return to shore for a scrumptious breakfast followed by another dive at any of the other 30 + dive sites.
The afternoons are at leisure...


Two dives could provide you with anything from Ragged Tooth Sharks, Potato Bass, Honeycomb Moray Eels, variety of Nudibranchs, loads of tropical fish species and even Whale Sharks to name a few.
Try out the local bars and restaurants, before retreating to your comfortable bed...


On this day you have the option to either dive or visit one of the nearby Game Reserves, where you will be able to see the Big 5 (Elephant / Lion / Leopard / Rhino / Buffalo) and many more plains game animals, birds and coastal flora.
Weather pendant could have you do a night dive in the Bay.


Heading of to Ponta do Ouro situated on the southern tip of Mozambique, approximately 10 kilometres north of Kosi Bay border post. Weather permitting an afternoon dive might be possible.
We offer a wide variety of accommodation in Ponta do Ouro, from camping to luxury Hotel accommodation and depending on your budget or choice we will accommodate you.

DAY 10

Two dives in the morning will once again give you the chance to spot Leopard Shark, Zambezi Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Whale Shark, Bull Shark, Mata Rays, Potato Bass, Rock Cod, Turtles, beautiful soft and hard Coral and so many species of tropical fish found in these warm waters.

DAY 11

Two dives in the morning and a possible dive in the afternoon will again give you access to all the wonderful sea life mentioned above along with stunning pinnacles, reefs, sand gullies, cliffs, ledges, plate coral, sponges and anemones...

DAY 13

Depart Ponta do Ouro and head south towards Durban. An exciting game lodge awaits you, with an afternoon game drive, sundowners in the bush followed by a big boma fire and traditional African dinner.

DAY 14

Early morning game to track those big elusive African animals, will have you ready for mid morning breakfast before departing to Durban airport where you will start making your way home.
