Our Itineraries are designed to offer guests an embracing experience of human natures affair with nature. They are exclusive experiences involving mild adventure along roads less travelled, an opportunity to discover intimate aspects of Africa. Every African Signature Itinerary can be personalised to suite your distinctive preference of travel.

This safari covers two of the premier parks in Zambia – The South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi plus Livingstone, home to the spectacular Victoria Falls. The Luangwa Valley, which marks the end of the Great Rift Valley, is one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa. The Luangwa River flows into the Zambezi River – just below the Lower Zambezi National Park. This park, scenically bordered by an impressive escarpment, has excellent game viewing which can be viewed from either the river or by land. Quietly drifting quietly past a huge elephant feeding is a great experience. Livingstone is home to one of 7 natural wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls, and offers many opportunities, both adrenaline filled and more sedate, to view this amazing site. There are game viewing opportunities too, with a chance to see the white rhino in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and river trips on the Zambezi River. Combining these three areas in Zambia gives you an exceptional safari.

DAY 1 - 3: MFUWE

On arrival at Lusaka International Airport you will be met and assisted through immigration and customs formalities. Then proceed to check in for your domestic flight to Mfuwe, which is an hour and a half on average.

In Mfuwe, you will be met by a representative of your camp of choice and transferred to camp in time for lunch or afternoon tea. There will be a variety of activities on offer that you may choose from including walking, game drives and possibly village tours. This is an opportunity to explore the remote and game rich Luangwa Valley either on foot or on board a 4 wheel vehicle – true African wilderness experience!

After a hearty breakfast and time allowing a morning activity; you will be transferred back to Mfuwe for your onward flight to Lower Zambezi. The flight is via Lusaka and on average of 3 hours including stop over time.

Lower Zambezi provides a fantastic contrast to the Luangwa Valley. Being on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, the water based activities are your main activities here. Boating fishing, canoeing are on top of the list with the game drives and walking as a bonus. The pace here is a bit more relaxed after the safari experience.

Having enjoyed the land and water activities of two of Zambia’s premier parks, its time to head on to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Victoria Falls! A short flight via Lusaka will get you to Livingstone, home of the Falls.

There is an endless list of activities here from seeing the Falls, adrenalin activities, cultural tours… something for everyone. Definitely a great way to end your Zambian safari!

Depending on your flight time, you may have a chance to have one last activity before heading off to the airport.
